Alton & Associates exists to serve a unique need in our industry.  We realized back in 2008 that the road ahead of us, the road that began with the mission statement “Stop Narcotic Tampering through Awareness & Prevention” was going to not only be arduous but expensive.  To protect ourselves financially, we needed to start a business.  Eventually our efforts will see the creation of a non-profit corporation or we may fold ourselves under the umbrella of an existing non profit.  In the mean time, Alton & Associates is a business that provides funds to keep this website and cause alive and growing.  Having a business has allowed us to apply for and receive our Continuing Education (CE) number from Los Angeles County EMS.  Funds generated from presentations, classes and consulting allow us to finance research, purchase equipment, travel and continue to provide advocacy for our industry.
